DEI Statement of Solidarity

At Angela Parker International, my team and community are committed to being activists and allies for the autonomy and equity of all people.

We act in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, the LGBTQIA+ rights and Trans Lives Matter movements, body positivity and health at every size, and intersectional feminism.

In recognition that the way in which we communicate is a strong component of equity, we intentionally observe, challenge and choose language to be more true to various lived experiences and find that it’s worth the time and efforts that it takes.

My dedication to empowering human potential and striving to end injustice and inequity means that I consciously work to raise my own self and social awareness, as well as that of those I coach.

The news may have temporarily quieted down, but the very real and damaging issues so many marginalized people face are evident. The need for us to work together to raise awareness and take meaningful action is of singular importance.

May we all allow this awakening to be the time we collectively said yes! to sacrificing what only serves very few and become something that serves everyone.

With love, humility and in solidarity,

Angela Parker
